The University of the Philippines Visayas is organizing the 7th International Conference for Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (ICFAS) to be held in-person on October 18-20, 2023 in Iloilo City, Philippines.
With the theme, “Fisheries for the Future,” the three-day conference will gather various stakeholders from the fisheries industry, academe, government institutions, industry players, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to tackle emerging technologies in aquaculture and post-harvest processing as well as to look at the necessary interventions towards sustainable fisheries and aquatic sciences.
ICFAS has been a vital platform for sharing knowledge, scientific findings, and experiences among researchers around the globe on various issues, challenges, and solutions in driving fisheries and aquaculture industry forward.
At least 300 participants are expected to attend this important symposium.
The call for submission of abstracts for both regular oral and poster scientific sessions and student competitions will be announced soon.
