Oysters are one of the delicious and nutritious seafood extensively cultured in the Philippines but are considered as a low value food commodity. To increase its market potential, oyster powder was created to provide a natural, nutrient-rich flavor enhancing ingredient for condiments and/or seasonings such as sauces and bouillon.

Condiments and seasonings are part of the growing market, but the health-conscious population has influenced product lines with health claims. It is forcasted that the products with health attributes will significantly contribute to its growth.

Oyster extract powder is a natural rich flavor enhancer with high levels of taurine that can provide energy boost, high in protein and zinc that can provide immunity support.
